About us
We are firmly convinced that no person in need should be left alone or die while fleeing. Our goal is to save lives in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
The escape route over the sea is one of the deadliest and most dangerous routes to Europe. Over 30,000 people have lost their lives at Europe's external border in recent years.
No one should drown while fleeing across the Mediterranean or the Atlantic, because every life counts.
Sea rescue is a humanitarian duty and not an act of mercy.
With our converted, fast and powerful ship 'SARAH', we rescue people from distress at sea.
Our team has been active in both sea rescue and civil society initiatives since 2016.
We came together and founded SARAH because each and every one of us knows:

Wir haben 3.820,67 € Spendengelder erhalten
Unsere Werfzzeit schien abgeschlossen. Jedoch sind Probleme aufgetreten, mit denen wir nicht gerechnet haben. Die Reparaturfinanzierung ist gescheitert. Daher werden die zukünftigen Mittel zur Fortführung der SARAH gUG in das neue Projekt Thetis II investiert.
