Die Handbreit - Nautical safety solutions gGmbh ist die Besitzer*in des Rettungsschiffs MV Louise Michel.
Die MV Louise Michel, benannt nach der französichen Anarchist*in Feminist*in, ist ein ziviles Rettungsschiff, das 2020 ihre erste Mission im zentralen Mittelmeer gefahren ist. Das Team aus erfahrenen Akstivist*innen verbindet die Überzeugung, dass gesamtgesellschaftliche Konflikte wie Nationalismus, Rassismus, Patriarchat und Kapitalismus nicht getrennt voneinander gedacht und bekämpft werden können. An Bord und an Land lebt und arbeitet die Crew feministisch, vegan und mit flachen Hierarchien.

We received a payout of €6,272.65
At the moment we are preparing our ship, the MV Louise Michel for her next Mission. We are using the donations to cover some of the enormes costs that we are facing during shipyard time. These are spare parts for the engine room or for the deck to keep the ship running safely during our operations. But also food and accommodation for our helping hands needs to be payed.
