About us
Chau Bello e.V. is a registered, non-profit animal welfare organization based in Schorndorf, Germany, founded in 2021.
Our mission is to sustainably alleviate the suffering of stray dogs and permanently improve their living conditions on the ground. The core focus of our work lies in the Eastern Anatolian region of Tunceli, Turkey.
We regularly provide hundreds of stray and shelter dogs with essential food supplies and ensure emergency veterinary care for injured and sick animals. Furthermore, we advocate for sustainable animal welfare through educational outreach, working in close cooperation with local authorities, veterinarians, and the community.
Our Major Project: A Sanctuary and Care Center for Tunceli
To provide the dogs in Tunceli with a safe haven, quarantine facilities, medical rehabilitation, and species-appropriate care, we are building our own sanctuary and care center.

bei Projekten, bei denen Spendengelder über einen langen Zeitraum hinweg nicht angefordert wurden, sehen das Gesetz und unsere Nutzungsbedingungen vor, dass die Spenden von der betterplace.org gGmbH (Betreiberin von betterplace.org) zeitnah für deren satzungsmäßige Zwecke verwendet werden müssen.
