About us

Our social project "Casa da Crianca" (Children's House) is entering its 4th year of existence. The house has since become an important factor in social commitment in the municipality of Porto Novo and nationwide. The children we care for from the most difficult family situations, who are under the guardianship of the Juvenile Court and the Ministry of Family Affairs, have found a new home in the "Casa da Crianca". The obligation of care entrusted us to provide a round-the-clock care for the children and to create a family-like atmosphere. Children aged 2-8 are admitted to our children's refuge and remain there until they are adopted or returned to their original family, if circumstances permit.

Our children's refuge is run exclusively with the provision of private donations.
You too can give your attention to the weakest in our society and help ensure that our social project can continue to support those whose lives began under difficult circumstances.
