We are committed to the implementation and universality of the right to asylum in the European Union and to the protection of human rights at Europe's external borders. Every person fleeing is entitled to reception under humane conditions and a fair and just asylum procedure. A right that is not guaranteed everywhere.
In our work, we try to be aware of structural systems that grant people different amounts of power and different opportunities. For us, this means dealing with people on the run in a respectful, discrimination-sensitive manner and thus supporting them in a self-determined and dignified life.
In Germany, we particularly support emancipation and human rights movements and try to improve sensitivity towards and support for people on the run through intercultural education and public relations work.
