We build solidarity!
The DGB youth in the Oldenburg-Ostfriesland region is active in the area from Delmenhorst to Emden, from Damme to Wilhelmshaven. In the very north-west of Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen), team members do voluntary, political education with young people. We hold the project days “Democracy and Codetermination” and anti-racist seminars under the heading “Show courage for democracy!”.
In addition, we pass on the crucial knowledge for a strong co-determination, regardless of whether in the student representation or the student council at the university: co-determination has to be learned!
Colleagues who want to be active beyond their educational work meet regularly in a different group (the so-called active meeting). Here, for example, the annual music festival “Rock gegen Rechts” is being prepared: Every year on the eve of May 1st there is a big festival with a clear political message on the Oldenburg Town Hall Market.
