About us
The association phyphox project e.V. is primarily committed to the further development and distribution of the phyphox app developed at our institute. With this app we want to enable children, teenagers and young adults to experiment independently and to conduct their own small research projects. The app can make STEM education more contemporary, attractive and diverse and should therefore continue to be available to all users free of charge and without advertising. At the same time, it promotes the ability to collect and evaluate data in a critical way. The app also offers great potential to improve educational equity - in Germany and around the world. Vielen Dank für die großzügige Unterstützung von phyphox! Dies hilft uns sehr, diejenigen Projekte umzusetzen, die durch unsere eigentlich forschende Tätigkeit nicht umsetzbar sind. Die jetzt abgerufenen Mittel werden wir nutzen um Workshops für Lehrkräfte und Schüler:innen zu Experimenten auf Basis günstiger Materialien zum selber bauen anzubieten - natürlich alles mit phyphox.

Many thanks for the generous support of phyphox! This helps us greatly in carrying out projects that we would not be able to realize within our usual research-oriented work. We will use the funds now received to offer workshops for teachers and students featuring experiments built from inexpensive DIY materials — all, of course, using phyphox.
