About us

21future is a German non-profit initiative that helps children aged 10-15 understand and apply important future competencies in an interactive and fun way.
21future was founded by Tahir Hussain, who spent more than 20 years in managerial leadership positions and is the father of two children aged 15 and 8.
His aim with 21future is to contribute to a future-oriented, competency-based education for ALL children.
Since 2017, 21future has been conducting one-week learning journeys at German schools in Munich and Karlsruhe. Based on a set of eleven competencies, students work in teams on practical challenges, develop their solutions and produce a short video highlighting both their results and the progress.
In 2020, we began to also offer fully digital learning journeys as well as a programme assisting teachers in developing and conducting their own learning journeys.
