About us

21future is a non-profit education startup allowing children to understand and apply important future competencies through an interactive and engaging way.
21future was founded by Tahir Hussain, who previously held senior leadership positions in a number of multinational companies and has two children attending school himself.
With 21future, it is our aim to contribute to future-oriented and competency-based education that is so crucial for young students - especially those coming from underprivileged backgrounds.
Since 2017, we have been conducting one-week learning journeys around the topic of sustainability at schools in Germany. Building on eleven competencies, students work in teams to develop solutions to real-life challenges we as humans are facing - and create a video as an end product. Since 2021, these learning journeys have been closely tied to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN). For more information, visit www.21future.org.
