About us

Kigali film and television school is the leading film school in Rwanda. Accredited by WDA, KFTV train professional filmmakers, photographer ,film and television actors, music audio producer and graphic designer. Over past five years, KFTV have trained more than 1000 professionals and they have rapidly expanded in film and multimedia industry in Rwanda, east Africa and across the world. Beyond the theory, we put an emphasis on hands-on experience. Students gain invaluable experience directing and shooting their own films in their numerous projects, students take on roles such as director, cinematographer, writer and editor and experience first-hand what it's like to be a part of a film production. This hands-on experience in writing, directing, shooting, and editing is a large part of what makes the KFTV the best film school for so many students.
