About us
Convenit e.V. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring together people from different social backgrounds, cultures, and age groups. Through our projects, we actively promote social cohesion, youth and elderly support, tolerance, and mutual respect.
A current focus of our work is the expansion of our senior rickshaw projects. Since 2020, we have been offering free rickshaw rides to some of Hamburg’s most beautiful locations for seniors with limited mobility. Our rickshaw pilots are both young and young-at-heart volunteers, helping to foster dialogue, understanding, and respect between generations.
What started with a single rickshaw has grown steadily due to high demand, and today our fleet consists of seven rickshaws.
