About us

Mt Kenya Upendo Home for the Aged is a non profit charitable organization in Nyeri Kenya. It is intended to cater for the poor sickly and neglected Old people in our community, giving them shelter, taking care of their physical and spiritual needs.
Currently under construction with already finished hostels to. Accomodate up to 36 old people.
We are looking for funds in order to complete the construction of a Kitchen, dining hall and to instal piped water in this facility.
Your donations will be highly appreciated, it will help us a great deal in taking care of the elderly in our community who are faced with the danger of hunger, rape and abandonment as they have no one to take care of them.
Some of them have dementia, exposing them to more danger when they are alone .
