About us

Moving Camera mm gUG (HRB 208393 B). The company pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes in the sense of the section "tax-privileged purposes" of the tax code. The purpose is to promote art and culture, education and popular education as well as international sentiment and tolerance in all areas of culture. The purpose of the statute is realized in particular by organizing workshops for children and adults on the "Moving Camera", a house boat, which also functions as a walk-in Camera Obscura, to convey the functionality of an analog camera and analog world in the digital age we live in. Workshops for children and adults on the "Moving Camera" are design to inspire artistic examination of photography technology, for example through the instructed use of creative means to reflect on the relationship between photography technology and painting; the implementation of further workshops for children and adults, especially at the interface of everyday culture and visual arts.
