About us

Alma Cápac is a Civil Association created non-profit, governed by the civil code within the scope of the law of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
The Alma Cápac Association is based in Lima - Peru and Passau - Germany, being the founders Ricardo Herrera Maurtua and Thorsten Holscher, whose sole purpose is to improve the living conditions of the most needy population in poor and extremely poor marginal urban areas.
The Association's commitment is to contribute to the sustainable development of populations and communities in the process of formalization, which have among their strengths the union of its members, who have clear objectives and commitment to their self-development.
In the social context of the most needy population, the Alma Cápac Association has executed different social assistance projects, in places where there is clear evidence of social exclusion; who, despite this, seek opportunities to enhance human development, both individually and collectively.
