About us
Randfilm e.V. wants to maintain and promote alternative film and cinema culture.
In addition to numerous, recurring film events, the association also organizes the annual film festival "Randfilmfest" in Kassel.
Since 20127, Randfilm e.V. has been ensuring the continued existence of the "Film-Shop", the oldest video store in the world with voluntary work.
In this way, the continued operation of the rental business is maintained, the film archive is maintained and expanded, the "German Video Museum" is set up and alternative film programs are curated inside the Film-Shop.
