About us
Basskontakt is a crew from Potsdam, which was founded in 2015 as an underground collective. At that time we organized many illegal raves and in 2017 we decided to make a non-profit association out of it. Since then, we have held various official events with up to 1,000 people and want to show that Potsdam also has more to offer than beautiful castles. Profits that are generated remain in the project and are reinvested. The claim is to create a non-violent and progressive space and to see ourselves as a constructive member of the techno movement as well as to give something back to society. We want to create places at our events where everyone is welcome and no one is excluded. In our line-ups we vary between the multitude of sub-genres that electronic music offers and try to take our guests into the diversity of the electronic music scene with different formats.

Erstes Open Air durch — und der erste Teil eurer Spenden ist bei uns angekommen.
Damit haben wir genau das gestemmt, was im Hintergrund laufen muss, damit ein freier Tanzfloor überhaupt entstehen kann: GEMA, Technik, Genehmigungen, Infrastruktur vor Ort. Kein Glamour, aber ohne diese Posten kein Beat.
Ihr habt das möglich gemacht. Punkt.
Wir machen weiter. Das nächste Open Air steht schon, und jeder weitere Beitrag landet wieder genau da, wo er gebraucht wird.
