About us

Trans*Recht e.V. was founded in 2013 to fight the discrimination of trans* people in law, in health care and in society. We are the project sponsor for the trans* peer and legal counseling in Bremen, as well as the Trans*Counseling Weser-Ems in Lower Saxony. We also organize lectures, readings or workshops and occasionally publish publications. We support people in precarious financial situations by means of surety or the like in their legal disputes (charity). We are recognized as a non-profit association.
