About us

We are the Buddhist Center Drikung Tashi Jong e.V. in the Bergischen Land. We are registered as a non profit organization. We practice the teachings of the Buddha, we give the teachings of the Buddha to society, the people, so that benefit and joy, health, quietness and peace develops for all. We are a center of the Drikung Kagyu lineage under the guidance of His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche, who is the head of a flourishing lineage evreywhere in the world. Our center was founded 35 years ago from His Eminence Drubwang Sonam Jorphel Rinpoche.
