About us
MADE-BY hilft Brands, die sozialen, ökonomischen und ökologischen Bedingungen
in der gesamten Produktionskette ihrer Kollektionen Schritt für Schritt zu verbessern
und diese Ketten transparent zu machen. Die Basis dafür bilden international
anerkannte Sozial- und Umweltstandards.
MADE-BY hilft Brands und Retailern bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung ihrer
individuellen Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie und -kommunikation.
MADE-BY hilft Konsumenten nachhaltig zu konsumieren. Am blauen Knopf lassen
sich MADE-BY-Partnerbrands erkennen, über einen Code in der Kleidung
Herstellungsketten nachvollziehen.
MADE-BY wurde 2004 als NGO gegründet. Regionale Büros in Amsterdam, London und
Freiburg betreuen Industrie- und Handelspartner der Textil- und Bekleidungsbranche.
MADE-BY-Partner wie Solidaridad unterstützen vor Ort in Südasien, China, Afrika und
Lateinamerika die nachhaltige Entwicklung von Lieferanten.
MADE-BY bietet Brands und Retailern Partnerschaften an, arbeitet aber auch auf
Projektbasis und vermittelt Nachhaltigkeits-Know-How in Form von In-House-
Seminaren und Workshops.
