About us
As an animal shelter and animal welfare organisation in Darmstadt and the surrounding area, we are committed to the respectful coexistence of humans and animals. Not least because our pets are important social partners that fulfil relevant functions in our society.
We want to give the animals that live with us a real sense of home. To achieve this, we work around the clock and with all our heart. Our team consists of 15 trained animal carers from the animal shelter and boarding kennels, our management team veterinarian Christian Zentgraf and Claudia Kadow as well as our many "helping hands" who actively support us in their free time. Together, we ensure that every dog, cat, mouse and bird receives individualised care, professional grooming and treatment, is pampered and looked after - and finds a loving home that suits them as soon as possible.

Wir haben 243,00 € Spendengelder erhalten
Die Spendengelder werden für notwendige Instandhaltungs-, Reparatur- und Sanierungsmaßnahmen auf dem Gelände und in den Gebäuden des Tierheims Darmstadt eingesetzt. Dazu gehören insbesondere Arbeiten, die der sicheren, tierschutzgerechten Unterbringung und Versorgung unserer Tiere dienen – etwa Reparaturen an Gehegen, Zwingern, Türen, Böden, Dächern, Leitungen oder technischen Einrichtungen sowie erforderliche Materialien und Handwerkerleistungen.Welche Maßnahmen jeweils zuerst umgesetzt werden, richtet sich nach Dringlichkeit, Zustand und aktuellem Bedarf. Sollten sich einzelne geplante Arbeiten verändern oder neue, vorrangige Reparaturen notwendig werden, informieren wir darüber transparent auf der Projektseite und passen die Bedarfe entsprechend an.
