Animal love knows no boundaries - animal welfare is our responsibility.
The Moroccan government is controlling the dog population by poisoning and shooting thousands of dogs throughout the country. The Fondation Helga Heidrich SOS Animaux is a non-profit organization that rescues injured, abandoned and mistreated animals in Morocco. All animals are treated by a veterinarian and will be given a new home. In 1995, the first sanctuary was opened for street and working animals. In addition, we operate a rescue center for Berber monkeys and parrots. We are fighting for animal rights together with a team of animal lovers in order to stop animal cruelty in Morocco. The rescued animals receive medical treatment, surgery, vaccines, food and a lot of care - without any exception.

Smoky's 2. Rettung
Heute wurde Smoky zum 2. mal gerettet!
Als Smoky zu uns kam, war sie schon tragend. Sonntagnacht brachte sie ein Eselbaby zur Welt, doch leider war es eine Totgeburt! Die so gut verheilten Wunden waren wieder aufgerissen und zu allem Übel wollte die Placenta, trotz Medikamente nicht heraus! Erst heute unternahm der Tierarzt die erforderliche Behandlung! Smoky war so tapfer und nun ist das Schlimmste überstanden. Nach den Antibiotikainjektionen wird sie hoffentlich bald gesund und kann mit ihrer Eselfreundin wieder herum spazieren! Wir wünschen Smoky nur gute Besserung!
