About us

A meeting was held in Parakou in August 2009, with the collaboration of the Peace Corps, a technical support organization, bringing together 27 people and organizations involved in Moringa to discuss the creation of an umbrella association of the sector . The participants of this meeting to a committee writing fundamental documents.
A year later, in August 2010, after the approval and revision of the documents by members of the inaugural meeting and others working in the field of Moringa in Benin, the Beninese Association of Moringa (ABM) created.
In view of the context and the ideal pursued by the association, we intervene in the following areas:
• Facilitating the distribution of Moringa products;
• Public awareness of the benefits of Moringa with a consistent and scientifically sound message;
• Encouraging new producers, processors and distributors;
• Implementation of production, quality and hygiene criteria;
