About us

"A voice for animals" - That is the mission of AWP. The association for wildlife protection was founded with the aim to promote and implement nature conservation as well as education projects. Furthermore we want to create synergies to contribute to the protection of endangered species worldwide and boost development assistance locally. One of our latest projects is "Danube Diversity" which deals with cultural variety and ecological challenges in the Danube region. In the southern hemisphere our "Takamanda-Kakao" project targets to reconcile the local cocoa farming and the needs of the Cross-River-Gorilla - the most threatened gorilla species.
