About us

CRED is a registered not for profit youth-led organization created in 2004. Our mission is to educate Haiti’s youth to become agents of change in their communities through involvement in impactful projects beneficial for their peers and the children. CRED’s major activities include:
a) capacity-building for community groups
b) providing comprehensive education, food, healthcare to children.
c) Publication of books and other materials aiming at sensitizing Haiti’s youth to take action.

Our experiences :

CRED developped an expertise in capacity-building for community youth groups and implementing social projects. The organization relies on a battery of devoted young men and women who work their heart out for the cause they believe in. They invest time and resources to train citizens and help make life better for hundreds of disadvantaged people.
CRED trained 950 members and leaders of grassroots associations in areas such as: leadership, project designing, conflict resolution and teamwork, civic education, Environment protection, and health-related topics.
Through its project entitled “Pathway towards the future”, CRED provides food to 350 children on a daily basis, pays school fees for 35 and educates them on issues related to health, environment, and civic engagement.
Through its project entitled “ Last Best Hope” CRED provided healthcare, education and food to 100 children on the island of Gonave.

Donations that cannot be used for the project

(Deleted User)  25 July 2016 at 02:43 PM

Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.

Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes:

Thanks for your support,
