The Region Rayalaseema Consists of four Distircts Namely Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapur, and Chitoor,The Kadapa District is Largest in the area. The Entire District with little exception has been declared as drought affected area. When we think of any development in Andhra Pradesh Statewe should give top priority to this distirct . Agriculture is the main occupation of the people and constitute the key sector of economy of the District. The development of agriculture has been ingabited primarily on accounts prepondance of small holdings . They are being mainly dry. There is a natural bias towards cultivation of dry crops
