CHRIST MISSION TO THE WORLD Profile
Christ Mission to the World (CMW) is a faith-based organization that engages low socio-economic communities in holistic community development activities. CMW envisions improved livelihoods through sustainable community development and spiritual mentor-ship. The mission aims at engaging communities in establishing centers for spiritual growth and mentor-ship; empowering community members in the attainment of a level of education and health that will enable them to lead a spiritually, socially and economically productive life; and creating an informed, and God fearing families.
General objectives
To contribute to the spiritual, social and economic development of slum and rural communities in Kenya
Specific Objectives
1) To evangelize schools, prisons, rural and slum communities
2) To distribute evangelistic materials, books, DVDs, CDs, audio and video tapes and others, and enhance theological training
3) To train the youth and young mothers
4) To establish safe, clean and sustainable water and sanitation programmes
5) To build and equip schools
