About us
Chavadi, in olden days was place for people to come and relax irrespective of their religion. Nivethan trust from madurai has taken initiative for bringing back the same concept for the aged people in its surroundings. Initially, Nivethan will provide one meal a day for aged and also will organize meetings with some experts in various field once in a month. Nivethan is currently serving 11 aged people with lunch and has capacity to accommodate upto 30 people. Currently the project is funded with the help of friends and relatives.
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT?
Volunteer your time: Serving, cleaning and just talk to the beneficiaries. Volunteers have to inform prior to their visit.
Sponsor: Approximately the cost for daily food to feed for 25 people will be around Rs.500. Even a single rupee with consideration is of great value to the Programme.
