“Giving prisoners and their children a better today and a brighter future”
PA Nepal's mission is to rid prisons of unnecessary suffering and hardship, in particular the suffering experienced by innocent children and prisoners who are poor and disadvantaged. It wants to help transform prisons into places that work to help prisoners build worthwhile and rewarding futures.
Within Nepal, the state has no legal obligation to support the children of prisoners. As such, one of PA Nepal’s greatest responsibilities is for the complete care of numerous children whose parents have been imprisoned. Without such support, many of these children would be forced to either reside in prison with their parents or on the streets where they are vulnerable to abuse, trafficking and exploitation.

Within Nepal, the state has no legal obligation to support the children

PA Nepal maintains 4 Children's Homes in Nayabazar, Sankhu, Palpa and Jhapa that provide a warming home to over 100 children. The organizations relies on donations to cover the daily expenses for food, school uniform, stationary, hygiene etc.
