The South Western region of Andhra Pradesh state is known as Kostha Consists of three distircts i.e Nellore, Prakasam , Guntur this region is characterized by degraded ecology and source water resources making the region vulnerable to frequent droughts and seasonable migration of labour rainfall in Kostha is the lowest in the entire state during monsoon ground water table too are extremely low.
