About us
The Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) was founded in 1995 as an umbrella organisation for ecovillages and communities. It supports the development of experimental settlements that not only want to keep their social and ecological environment stable, but also to develop it sustainably. An ecovillage is a settlement on a human scale that is consciously designed through community processes in order to achieve long-term sustainability. And regardless of political, cultural and religious background, all five dimensions of sustainability - i.e. economy, ecology, social issues, culture and the holistic view - must be taken into account so that a holistic approach to life can develop.
The German network GEN Deutschland e.V. currently consists of 23 full members and has a sociocratic structure.

Wir nutzen die Gelder v.a. für die neue Komunikationsplattform und die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit des Netzwerks um den über das ganze Land verstreuten Mitgliedern die Möglichkeit bieten,
gemeinsam an Projekten zu arbeiten,
Es wurden 1.000,00 € Spendengelder für folgende Bedarfe beantragt:
