About us

On 27 December 1989, our charity organization was founded by private individuals with the purpose to relieve the distress the people in Romania were suffering from. Later on we organised aid-convoys to other countries as well. The aim of our charity organization is to help individuals, families and groups to overcome periods of hardship and to enable them to take care of themselves again.

Further we want to contribute to improving the relationship between our country and the countries supported by our relief operations.

In the framework of our activities we organize convoys which head directly for the regions that are affected by an emergency situation. In the run-up to the operation the actual need and specific locations are being analysed. This way we are able to distribute food, medicines, clothing and/or non-food items directly to needy people, children's homes, retirement homes, disability and rehabilitation centers. The aid supplies are distributed directly and exclusively to the selected recipients. This process is controlled on the spot by our members in person.

All members and supporters of our organization are volunteers. Therefore 100% of your donation will be used for the purchase, transport and distribution of aid supplies.

We are an officially registered non-profit organisation.
