It started in the fall of 2015 on the Balkan route between Freilassing and Chios, where the Munich based association German Alliance for Civilian Assistance supplied refugees with the bare necessities quickly and efficiently.
We’ve been focusing on Turkey since February 2016 and are looking after about 1200 Syrian refugees there. After months of gathering experience and long conversations with the refugees on site we have developed a long-term concept: Rebuild the Future Now.
RFN offers refugees the possibility to shape their own future: they are able to work and live with their families in communities resembling villages. We adhere to the sustainable development proclaimed by the UN when we build and maintain the RFN villages. To us, sustainable development isn’t just an empty phrase but voluntary commitment which we will reach by working closely with local governments who have ensured us their full cooperation.
Wir haben inzwischen die provisorische RFN Grundschule in der Türkei gestartet. Dank Eurer Spende können wir die Schulausgaben einwenig abdecken und der Lehrerin einen kleinen Lohn bezahlen.
