About us
Exil e.V. is a registered non-profit association based in Osnabrück and founded in 1987. Since then, we have been supporting refugees and people with a migration history in many wide-ranging ways to enable them to live a decent and dignified life free from fear.
We provide support in learning the German language, we create educational and leisure programmes, furthermore, we provide offers of educational, recreational and cultural activities. Our staff advises persecuted and displaced people of all essential concerns regarding asylum procedures as well as about their stay and life in Germany.
Our aim is to increase acceptance for the rights and requirements of refugees in public, in politics, and in administration via information sharing about the refugees’ living conditions, their reasons for fleeing and about refugee policy.
