About us

From Community to Education – Real Opportunities for Cape Town's Children
Too many children in Cape Town's townships face a path shaped by poverty, violence, and a lack of prospects. The non-profit initiative HIT – Help In Time breaks this cycle. For over 10 years, we have developed transparent, voluntary social projects directly on the ground. Since September 2024, we are also registered as an NPO in South Africa.

Our Core Areas:

Basic Care & Relief: Together with Mama Sindi, we secure daily survival through soup kitchens and provide emergency relief during crises like recent floods.

Education: Alongside our self-built school in Manenberg (opened 2023), our Siyakhula projects offer 12-hour care for babies and prepare 3- to 5-year-olds for preschool.

Next Milestone: We are currently coordinating the construction of a new kindergarten in Imizamo Yethu.

Community: We offer children protection and stability in an environment impacted by crime.
