About us
GADC is a non-profit making community based organisation, with statutes officially published on July 5th of 2006 in the Public Gazette (BR III Série Nº27).
Vision: Vulnerable children in Mozambique are better informed on and protected against exploitation and have increased access to services that assist them in reaching their full potential.
Mission: Alleviate the suffering in the poorest communities through sustainable grassroots initiatives aimed at local empowerment and educational opportunities in an effort to fulfill basic human rights embracing a spirit of compassion and service to humanity.
Main goals of your GADC
a) Create opportunities for children and teenager that ensure their enrolment in basic Education.
b) Increase value and capacity development and the rote of stakeholders within communities for influencing the tackle of children exploitation, including the reducing of health vulnerability and sustainable livelihoods promotion.
Plans for the next three to five years:
a) Children Protection Program: to ensure that vulnerable children in Mozambique are better informed on and protected against exploitation and have increased access to services that assist them in reaching their full potential;
b) Provision of Livelihoods Project: To reduce malnutrition through an increase in 30% in the diversification of the sources of income of the communities, in order to reduce the negative impact of food insecurity.
