About us
Introduction
Glasgow Educational Centre was founded in September, 2010 by a committee which comprised of a few parents and community members. It was registered under the Kenyan Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Development.Reg.DAG/CBO/5/4/2015/415 with an aim of offering quality and affordable education to the unprivileged children brought up in hash conditions of the neighboring slums. The organization is a charitable institution but faces numerous challenges and up till now it has not achieved its intended goal due to lack of resources, as it hardly has sponsors, the pupils’ population has continued to rise steadily exerting pressure on the limited resources.
