Pai Engineering focuses on temporary and permanent earthquake resistance structures.
"Pai Shelters" are a Winterproof, earthquake resistant, metal, halfdome Shelter. There are presently over 10,000 of these shelters being used in Pakistan and India.
"Pai Trecem Modules" are used to make houses earthquake resistant.
The "Trecem" module system is made from steel enforced concrete in fixed sizes that can easy be produced and assembled by local people in all rural areas by using only local labor and material. Almost any design of a house is possible. The masonry afterwards can be done with indigenous materials.
