About us

AWAC bridges the gap and creates a common language between goal-oriented activists and process-oriented artists working on the same issues. We connect organizations and activists who are interested in engaging with audiences and participants using new, diverse and creative methods with artists who use such methodologies to create socially and politically engaged artwork. Additionally, we develop workshops and toolkits using artistic and creative practices for campaign building.
