About us
"HOPE worldwide Ukraine" Charity Foundation is a non-governmental charitable organization. The Foundation has been registered in 1998 (Certificate #0108-98 issued by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine).
Our mission
Development of voluntary activities to improve the quality of life for children and adults who live in difficult socio-economic conditions.
Main activities
- humanitarian assistance to people who live in difficult socio-economic conditions, particularly, to the victims of the russian war against Ukraine (priority since Feb 24, 2022);
- psychological assistance to children and adults with war trauma (priority since Feb 24, 2022);
- social adaptation of orphans and children with special needs who live in orphanages and boarding schools;
- assisting state elderly care institutions in sustaining physical and emotional needs of the elderly;
- promoting healthy lifestyles among adolescents and youth;
- educational workshops and training for volunteers;
- promotion of voluntary blood donation and recruitment of blood donors.

Donations that cannot be used for the project
Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.
Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
