About us

The Andreas Tobias Kind Foundation is committed to the education, training and research in the areas of special education and music therapy - and especially for the individual professional and personal development of people. Thus, they would like to make an important contribution to a contemporary and useful accompaniment for people in need of support and to contribute towards a life-affirming, diverse social structure.


The relationship between Andreas Tobias Kind Foundation and the music therapists Claudia Knoll and Špela Loti Knoll:
The Andreas Tobias Kind Foundation is one of the few foundations nationwide, which is involved in the field of music therapy. Since 2008, the foundation has supported Claudia Knoll and Špela Loti Knoll's ambitious plans to promote music therapy in different regions and people who are particularly in need of help. The first joint project was the implementation of short-term music therapy in post-war Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. In the meantime, the two women live and work in the Špela Loti Knoll’s homeland in Kranj, Slovenia, and have, with the support of the Andreas Tobias Kind Foundation, been putting all their energy into the construction of an initial music therapy training programme in Slovenia.
