TECHO is a non-profit organization that seeks to overcome the situation of poverty in 19 Latin–American countries’ slums, through the joint work of families living in extreme poverty and youth volunteers.
Founded in 1997, TECHO is today one of the largest youth-run NGO’s in Latin-America having to date built more than 100.000 transitional houses together with 600.000 volunteers.
TECHO’s vision is a fair and poverty-free society, where everyone has the opportunities needed to develop their capacities and fully exercise their rights.

The money will be gathered together with the previous donations and shared with our colleagues at TECHO Haiti. We're expecting to continue fundraising for Haiti in the upcoming months and reach the goal of a house shortly.
