About us
PfefferminzGreen is a non-profit organisation that supports community-led projects in sub-Saharan Africa since 2006. We work closely with trusted, registered local NGOs in Sierra Leone and Ethiopia. Our projects are based on the ideas and needs of the local people and thus give communities the opportunity to shape their own future.
Our work focuses on education, women's empowerment & income-generating activities. This includes building schools and youth centres, setting up training facilities and supporting savings and loan groups (VSLAs).
Based on our 20 years of experience, N'NINKIE was created – a platform that amplifies the voices of African changemakers and highlights the strength of local social support systems.
