Deutsche Tinnitus-Stiftung Charité

managed by K. Anschütz (Communication)

About us

Research. Educate. Alleviate.

11 million people in Germany suffer from tinnitus and hearing disorders. The causes for tinnitus are still largely unknown. It is high time that research is better supported! That’s what the German Tinnitus Foundation Charité does. Together with their young volunteers, they do a great deal for youth prevention – so as to prevent the suffering from occurring in the first place!
What many people don’t know: everyone can get tinnitus, no matter what age, gender or profession. The disease is often caused by noise, but also by stress.
A particular target group of the foundation are adolescents, because especially among young people the number of people suffering from tinnitus is rising fast.
