About us
It is important to us to actively support, implement, and promote animal welfare projects. “Streunerglück” is a non-profit animal welfare association that has been founded in the end of 2013. We want to give the strays on the streets of Bosnia and Herzegovina a better life. To achieve this, we are very happy to welcome many of you to our project site. With your help, we can achieve a lot!
We carry out feeding initiatives, neutering and education projects, all based from our own small animal shelter in the mountains of Mostar. We want to improve the conditions in which pets and strays are living locally and raise awareness amongst the society to also prevent unwanted kittens and puppys from being born. With many dedicated local helpers, whom we all know personally and visit several times a year, we are trying to get closer to a sustainable improvement of the situation, step by step.

Das Streunerdorf wird kontinuierlich betrieben und hat entsprechend hohen Verschleiß an Geräten, Einrichtung und Materialien. Hier eine neue Waschmaschine, dort gibt die Wasserpumpe den Geist auf und das völlig überlastete Stromnetz wäre wohl erheblich entlastet, wenn wir eigenen Strom erzeugen könnten. Täglich ist etwas Neues und alles möchte finanziert werden. Wir bedanken uns für jede einzelne Spende, die uns zu diesen Zwecken erreicht!
