About us
When in 2010 a strong earthquake devastated most of Chile’s coastal line, the wish to help others woke up in me. With the help of many people from Nuremberg, soon a benefit-event was held. As a result of this initial engagement, El Tentempié, a group of people who attempted to support future projects in Latin America, was born. Since then, we work together in solidarity with indigenous communities. Later, in July 2013, the tax office confirmed the charitable benefit of the association. Now that initial phase is behind us, and we would like to continue strengthening this cooperation with players in Latin America in an effective way, with a special emphasis on improving living conditions and educational opportunities for women and children.

wir freuen uns rießig mitzuteilen, dass wir unser Ziel erreicht haben!
Die Frauen der textil Kooperative haben ihren ersten Schals selbst gewebt. Unterschiedliche Designs haben sie gelernt, Muster die eine kulturelle Bedeutung für sie haben. Die Schals sind ungefähr 80 cm bis ein Meter breit und zwei Meter lang. Die uralte Technik haben sie nachgeholt und jetzt können sie sie ihre Kinder weitergeben.
Jetzt helfen wir Ihnen weiter ihre Schals zu verkaufen. Das machen wir in einer online Shop auf Etsy und auf Märkte, die wir regelmässig besuchen.
Wichtig ist es, bei euch allen zu bedanken, sonst hätten wir das nicht geschaft :)
