About us

The Gizzim foundation is founded on the principle of severing the curse of Poverty from generation to generation. Many youth have been born into this monstrous reality of Poverty. From the beginning, poverty has been a painful shadow for humanity, and many laudable ventures to fight it have been realized, not to mention Rhetoric from World Leaders. Placing blame on others is not effective at fighting poverty. Poverty is as a result of the poor state of the human heart, not ignorant of the many factors that play a part for poverty to ensue, it’s an affair of the Heart, an affair of the Mind. The only way that any person’s life will ever matter is what he does for another, according to the value!
The Gizzim foundation lays the foundations for people from impoverished communities to transcend poverty through empowerment in areas of Education, Healthcare, Environment, Science, Technology, Governance, Entrepreneurship, Music, Arts, Innovation and overall Social Well-being .It aims at harnessing the goodwill of Society (Gizzimers- Githurai and Zimmerman) and the world to philanthropic ventures in the topics mentioned above. We are an inclusive charitable foundation that cuts across various groups in the society, impoverished and challenged, at the same endeavoring to Advancement of Society.
