About us

NGO Mondo is a non-profit organization established in 2007 in Estonia. The objectives of its activities are managing and intermediating development cooperation and global education projects, educating general public on the issues of humanitarian aid and development cooperation. Support a Child in Kenya:
Since 2010 the support program of NGO Mondo also includes Kenya thanks to Estonian volunteers who initiated the cooperation. You can support the education of children in primary and secondary schools or children with special needs.
The necessary costs for one child in primary school are 4500 schillings (about 40 euros). This includes the cost of school uniforms, school bags, shoes, 5 pairs of socks, books, pencils and school exams.

With 180 euros you can support a child in secondary school. There is no free secondary education in Kenya. Orphans and children from poorer families have no chance to cover the costs of even the cheapest schools. Secondary school lasts for 4 years.

We are also looking for donations for children with special needs!
With 90 euros a child with a physical disability can attend boarding school; a school for children with hearing disabilities costs 150 euros for one child for a year.

Since the school year in Kenya starts already in January, we ask that you make the donation no later than December 1st of each year.
