About us
SCA (Social Care in Action) Group is a group of social enterprises which deliver a range of health and social care services in the South of England. Around 100,000 customer members benefit from our services which include SCA Trafalgar (providing NHS dentistry in areas of high dental need), SCA Care (delivering home care, day care, and respite services), SCA Transport (providing community transport), SCA Fenwick2 (a converted hospital health and wellbeing centre in the New Forest), SCA Quinn Centre (delivering training to the health and social care sector) and SCA Advocacy (providing advocacy, advice and support services). SCA employs approximately 500 members of staff and 100 volunteers. SCA was established in 1991 in Southampton and rapidly grew and spread across the south.
