About us

Our goal is to defeat cancer, and every donation brings us a little closer to achieving this goal.
The National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg is a joint institution of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), Heidelberg University Medical Faculty, and Heidelberg Thorax Clinic. German Cancer Aid supports the NCT Heidelberg as a leading center for oncology. At the NCT Heidelberg, the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), the Heidelberg Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University, and the Heidelberg Thorax Clinic, all outstanding institutions in research and patient care, join forces for the benefit of patients. Patients with cancer receive state-of-the-art therapy at NCT Heidelberg. Physicians and scientists from many disciplines work side by side here to quickly translate scientific findings into clinical applications. They all pursue the basic idea of the NCT: Together against cancer – with people at the center.
