About us
The Armenian Community of Baden-Württemberg (AGBW) is the spiritual and cultural home of the approximately 5,000 Armenians living in Baden-Württemberg. Its roots go back to the first Christian communities in Armenia, the world's first Christian state (301). Armenian families have been shaping life in the south-west for over 50 years. The AGBW was formed in 1996 from the merger of the communities of Stuttgart and Göppingen and is now part of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Germany. As a non-profit association, we are committed to faith, culture, education, integration and social support. We promote identity and cohesion among all generations through church services, youth and educational work, cultural projects and social services. More at: agbw.org
