About us

We are a group of young people who, after personal experiences in Latin America, founded the association Momotombo e.V. with the aim of providing improved medical and especially physiotherapeutic care for children with physical and / or psychological limitations in our partner project in Nicaragua.

Besides discrimination in everyday life, the lack of therapeutic support is a central problem for many children with disabilities in Nicaragua.

Therefore, we want to maintain and further expand the range of therapies in our partner project in the city of León, as well as create an awareness of the necessity of therapeutic treatment.

At the moment we are promoting the fields of phyio-, psycho-, speech- and occupational therapy and handicrafts. In addition, with our direct aid fund we ensure that help can be provided quickly in an emergency.
